Job Description
HackerOne is a global leader in Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). The company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead complex initiatives and own end-to-end delivery of projects with moderate to large scope. The successful candidate will help drive the design and delivery of AI-assisted and agentic capabilities that are measurable, safe to operate, and tied to customer outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience within a modern SaaS environment
- Proficient in dynamically typed, OOP languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby or similar languages
- 5+ years of practical SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (5+ years, AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS or similar modern front-end frameworks
- Strong experience delivering AI-assisted features or agentic systems into production
- Experience with agentic architectures (tool use/function calling, workflow orchestration, retrieval/RAG, human-in-the-loop)
- Experience with evaluation and data loops (golden sets, offline/online evals, experimentation, quality dashboards, regression monitoring)
- Ability to clearly explain measurable trade-offs and use data to drive decisions and iteration
