Director of Information Security

HackerRank is seeking a Director of Information Security to lead and scale its global information security function. The role involves setting direction, building and leading the team, and being the primary security partner to Engineering, Product, and Go-To-Market teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in information security, with experience leading security programs or teams
• Strong background in SaaS, cloud-native, or product-led companies
• Experience in setting up security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO, GDPR, NIST)
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and GTM teams
• Calm, clear communication - especially in high-stakes or ambiguous situations
