Purchasing Clerk

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. seeks a Purchasing Clerk to join their team in Newark, New Jersey, supporting the Purchasing department by entering and maintaining data across Excel and internal systems.

Requirements

• Accurately verify incoming and outgoing materials
• Track and maintain inventory levels in accounting program
• Create, process and manage purchase orders (POs)
• Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability and delivery timelines
• Follow up on outstanding or delayed orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal teams
• Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, packing slips and vendor communications
