Aviation Maintenance Technician

The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) performs aircraft maintenance and repairs within estimated time in accordance with applicable standards of quality, including organizing work plans, working in a safe manner, and delivering a quality product on time. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, servicing, modifying, replacing, and overhauling aircraft and aircraft systems, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment and following safety procedures and specifications.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Eighteen (18) months or more of aircraft maintenance experience on transport category aircraft or military aircraft
• Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list
• Language (read, write, speak, and understand English)
• Must be able to learn through OJT and demonstrate progress in competencies
• Be capable of reading and understanding aircraft maintenance instructions
