Purchasing Category Manager - Consulting (m/f/d)

Hager is looking for a Purchasing Category Manager - Consulting to strengthen its Indirect Sourcing. The role will involve structuring and driving category purchasing topics at corporate level, managing category panels of vendors, and associated purchasing activities. The position will be based in Obernai, France or Blieskastel, Germany for a permanent contract.

Requirements

• Academic degree or relevant Industrial / business management / information technology / engineering education
• A minimum of 7 years' experience of purchasing
• Operational and technical savvy – potentially related to Consultancy, Project Management, Agile Methodology in Digital environments
• Strong presence and interpersonal skills, with the drive to build effective partnerships with key internal stakeholders, vendors / service providers and other business partners
• Fluent proficiency in English, skills in German and/or French language are a plus
• Knowledge of SAP and SAP ARIBA is a plus
