Job Description
As a member of the Medical team, this position is responsible for providing optometry services to patients of HCHN, conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular disease, prescribing medications, and recommending follow-up care options.
Requirements
- Valid and active State of Michigan license as a Doctor of Optometry (OD)
- Board Certified in Optometry
- Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of eye care delivery
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong oral and written communication and presentational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- General computer proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
