Avionics Operations Engineer

A leading aerospace organization is seeking a Level I or II Avionics Engineer to support the integration, testing, and operations of advanced flight vehicle electrical and avionics systems.

Requirements

• Support integration, testing, and operations of flight vehicle avionics and electrical systems
• Develop, document, and execute test procedures
• Investigate and resolve vehicle discrepancies
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems and support modifications
• Maintain configuration control of avionics system elements (e.g., wiring diagrams, CAD models, work orders)
• Collaborate with subsystem leads to define requirements, test plans, and procedures
• Work cross-functionally to develop technical solutions across multiple engineering disciplines
• Perform analyses to assess system performance and design adequacy
• Interface with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical and program requirements are met
• Support external coordination efforts including range integration, safety documentation, and payload integration
• Prepare presentations and contribute to design reviews
• Support ground and/or flight testing as needed
• Provide regular status updates to engineering leadership
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and follow-through on commitments
