Job Description
A leading aerospace organization is seeking a GNC Engineer to support the design, development, verification, and testing of flight control systems for advanced hypersonic vehicles. The role involves evaluation of technical data, development of algorithms, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure flight control system performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Develop and evaluate advanced algorithms to meet Guidance, Navigation, and Control requirements
- Develop hypersonic plant modeling and analysis tools
- Create Algorithm Description Documents (ADDs) to document GNC designs
- Perform analyses to verify algorithm designs meet requirements
- Contribute to overall flight control system design, development, integration, and test
- Develop engineering tools as needed to support tasks
- Communicate regularly with Vehicle Management System and GNC Leads
- Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and follow-through
- Travel as needed to support departmental activities
