Job Description
A Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, providing strategic tax planning advice, and representing clients during tax audits. They also manage client accounts, mentor junior staff, and assist with financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA license is strongly preferred but not required
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a team player
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to make informed decisions and stay organized with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work under pressure
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
- Ability to adapt to specialized tax and accounting software
- Leadership tendencies and some experience with training/coaching
