Job Description
Harbinger is seeking a qualified AME Equipment Engineer - Controls to lead the design, development, programming, and commissioning of robust control systems for their advanced manufacturing equipment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced automation technologies and optimize production processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will focus on electrical systems, PLC programming, safety compliance, and data integration for both equipment and their manufacturing execution system.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of hands-on experience as a Controls or Automation Engineer
- Advanced proficiency in programming and configuring industrial PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff)
- Direct experience with programming and integrating industrial robotics (FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and implementing machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, EtherCAT)
