Job Description
Harbor Health is looking for skilled Medical Assistants to join their team in Austin, TX. MAs will perform essential duties such as client intake, collecting lab specimens, charting in electronic medical records, and supporting the clinical team.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant or 10 years experience as a Medical Assistant
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in primary care
- CPR Certification
- Experience working for an Endocrinology clinic or Endocrinologist
- Computer skills with E.H.R. system
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
