Senior Associate, Client Ops New Business Implementation

HarbourVest is seeking a Senior Associate to assist in the operational build aspects for the firm's new investment solutions for clients. The role involves close collaboration with various teams and ongoing partnership with colleagues across the firm, including Strategy, Innovation, and Execution, Enterprise Investments Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Investor Relations, Private Wealth, Tax, and Financial Planning & Analysis.

Requirements

• Experience or solid understanding in one or more of the five operational functions below: Accounting, Client Experience/Investor Reporting, Performance/Analytics, Transfer Agent, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Compliance – Regulatory and tax
• Ability to push for client operational decisions on a project while seeking input from different perspectives, without existing precedents
• Experience working in team environments, with the ability to lead or facilitate group efforts
• Strong familiarity with US GAAP, LUX GAAP and other basis of accounting
• Familiarity with different legal structures used for investors to access private market strategies
