Soccer Coach

Harlem Children’s Zone seeks a Soccer Coach to lead a brand-new soccer program for elementary, middle, and high school students, fostering a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment while building a strong foundation for the program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous playing and/or coaching experience (Youth or high school level preferred)
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies at different youth stages.
• Relevant Coaching certification (e.g., USSF, UEFA, NSCAA) is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Background check clearance (especially for youth coaching)
