Job Description
The Dyno Lab Senior Technician is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting engine and chassis dynamometer testing to support development, durability, and regulatory requirements within Engineering. This role is responsible for instrumenting and configuring engines and test cells, operating and monitoring complex dynamometer systems, and delivering high quality, decision ready data through expert test execution and analysis.
Requirements
- Conduct and Support engine dynamometer testing activities including: Instrumentation of Engines Engine Setup and Fixturing Data Acquisition Setup Test Execution & Monitoring Test Data Review & Report Out Conduct and Support required regulatory testing Follow both in-house and regulatory calibration/preventive maintenance schedules Conduct equipment diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance (PM) Create/modify work instructions/procedures Perform installation & calibration of instrumentation Adhere to the 5S concept and all other supporting CI (continuous improvement) methods
