You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop future HARMAN Automotive products and provide technical leadership and mentoring to functional safety engineers within projects and across the global safety community.
Requirements
- Master or bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- Mature experience in building and maintaining customer, supplier relationships
- Strong technical leadership capabilities
- Proven team player to effectively work in a global environment with all levels of a global matrixed organization
- Profound on safety critical systems and related standards (SOTIF & ISO26262)
- Profound knowledge in Systems-Theoretic-Process-Analysis, Safety Analysis, Functional Safety analysis FTA, FMEDA, FMEA and Hazard and Risk Analysis etc., Safety for Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Experience and profound knowledge of multimodal sensor data handling for perception and fusion principles
- Proven experience in technically leading and coaching functional safety engineers within safety-critical projects
- Profound understanding of model-based development and state-of-the-art tools for Safety & Cyber-Security
- Methodical, structured work style and experienced in translating strategies into actionable plans
- Capability of simultaneous handling of multiple projects and initiatives and executing to completion
- Excellent communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
