Software Engineer, Applications (m/f/d)

As a Software Engineer, Applications, you will be responsible for advancing new audio technologies from research through prototype development and productization readiness. You will support innovation across HARMAN's Automotive, Lifestyle, and Professional product lines by developing and evaluating audio systems, signal processing algorithms, machine learning solutions, and test methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of BSc degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, acoustics, etc.
• 6 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with development of SW on embedded platforms, using C/C++
• Practical experience with Agentic AI integration into code development process
• Real time Audio DSP algorithm implementation experience
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration systems and Agile SW development
• Fluency in developing multi-threaded and interrupt driven programs for real-time applications
• Experience with SDKs for audio development
• Business fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
• Willingness to work on-site 3 days a week
