Manager - Technical Accounting & Assurance, IFRS, GAAP

HARMAN is seeking a Manager - Technical Accounting & Assurance to interpret and apply complex accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, K-IFRS) across the organization. The role involves providing technical guidance on complex transactions, supporting statutory and management reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, audit, or accounting advisory roles
• Deep understanding of accounting and international standards, with experience in M&A
• Proven experience in analyzing and applying IFRS to real-world business scenarios
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in accounting transformations and regulatory projects
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
