Job Description
As a Principal Engineer, DSP, you'll design common audio infrastructure software based on Qualcomm/Samsung/Intel/NXP/TI/ADI SoCs, integrate Harman audio solutions into these platforms, and coach lower-level engineers. You'll work on cutting-edge solutions in the car, enterprise, and connected ecosystem, with opportunities for innovation, professional growth, and recognition.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in corporate or academic research
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in research and development
- Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years’ experience
- 12+ years of SW development experience
- Proficient in C++ language
- Strong communication skills to explain technology concepts to non-technical audiences
- High-quality mindset to develop software with best industry practices
- Passion for Audio quality and performance
- Experience with DSP processor and audio/DSP framework
- Experience in audio related embedded SW development: audio driver, floating-point and fixed-point processing, audio framework, MIPS/MCPS optimization
