Medical Coder

We are seeking a talented Medical Coder to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects. The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning standardized codes to diagnoses, treatments, and procedures for billing and insurance purposes.

Requirements

• Analyze and code patient diagnoses, treatments, and procedures using recognized coding systems
• Ensure that all codes are applied correctly during the billing process
• Review and interpret patient records, doctor's notes, lab results, and other documentation
• Ensure coding practices comply with legal and medical regulations
• Assist in correcting denied or rejected claims due to coding errors
• Accurately input data into Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and coding software
• Stay updated with changes in coding standards, industry regulations, and payer requirements
