Design Systems, Product Designer

Harness is hiring a Design Systems, Product Designer to help shape the next chapter of their product experience. This role involves designing and evolving the system that powers consistency, quality, and speed across the platform, and working closely with engineers to ensure components translate cleanly from design to React implementation.

Requirements

• Design and evolve high quality components, patterns, and foundations for the design system
• Build scalable component libraries in Figma using strong auto layout, variants, properties, and responsive structure
• Work in a token based environment, helping define and apply primitives, semantic tokens, and component level tokens
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure components translate cleanly from design to React implementation
• Contribute to multi theme system design across a complex platform
• Raise the quality bar for visual design, accessibility, consistency, and production readiness across the product
• Define system guidance, usage rules, and best practices that help teams adopt the system correctly
• Support the evolution of the design to code workflow using AI assisted tools across Figma, tokens, and implementation pipeline
