Principal Software Engineer - Data Platform(Data Activation & Analytics)

Harness is a software delivery platform company seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of a unified data platform serving 20+ product modules. The platform will enable ingestion, processing, and retrieval of data to power analytics & systems at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong focus on data platforms and analytics systems
• Proven expertise in building low-latency, highly concurrent microservices
• Deep knowledge of fact/dimensional modelling in data lakes/warehouses
• Strong understanding of OLAP workloads and hands-on experience with MPP/OLAP datastores
• Proficiency in JVM-based languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin)
