Staff Motion Designer

Harvey is hiring a Staff Motion Designer to define the motion design language for the brand across various creative surfaces and help turn complex AI product ideas into clear and memorable motion systems that can scale across product launches and web experiences.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio of motion work that demonstrates storytelling, art direction, animation craft, visual systems thinking, and the ability to explain the process behind finished work.
• Deep fluency in motion design tools and workflows such as After Effects, Figma, Cinema 4D, Lottie, Rive, code-adjacent motion, or comparable production tools.
• Experience building motion for brand, product, marketing, launch, or education contexts, ideally in a product-led technology company or high-growth SaaS environment.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills, including the ability to clarify a brief, align with PMM or Marketing goals, handle competing feedback, and prioritize multiple stakeholder requests.
• A staff-level ownership mindset: able to bring ideas, shape systems, operate through ambiguity, give and receive feedback well, and still roll up sleeves when the team needs execution support.
