Job Description
Join Hatch's Project Delivery Group as an Electrical Designer to supervise a team and assist in developing deliverables for Mining, Energy, and Infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising a team, coordinating with lead engineers, and resolving technical design issues. This is a dynamic opportunity to be part of a diverse team delivering quality projects.
Requirements
- Adhere to and promote Hatch corporate safety culture
- Manage the schedule for a team of designers
- Supervise, review, and check the quality of electrical designs
- Prepare design concepts for internal and client reviews
- Produce detailed engineering design drawings and documentation
- Perform 3D model clash detection and coordinate electrical design with other disciplines
- Assist in the preparation of project specific procedures
- Perform complex plant layout and electrical systems using 3D design modeling tools
- Contribute to the development of different multidisciplinary design solutions
- Lead formal electrical design reviews
- Responsible for electrical design work related to quantity estimation effort
- Apply industry best practices and applicable codes and standards
