Job Description
Hatch is seeking a highly motivated Power Substation Communications Engineer to join the Energy team in eGRID, USA. The role involves developing and reviewing electrical design packages, investigating failures, creating SCADA point lists, and ensuring cyber security. The company is passionate about sustainability and innovation within the oil and gas and power sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in substation communication systems
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE)
- Strong communication skills (English and strong written/oral)
- Ability to perform independently and as part of a team
