Senior Tailings Practitioner - Geotechnical

We are seeking a Senior Tailings Practitioner - Geotechnical to become a practitioner in the field and part of our expanding team in Mississauga, Canada. As a highly motivated professional with a strong technical focus, you will support the development of the practice and expand the capability within the North American cluster.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree(s) in Civil, Geological, or Mining engineering and/or post-graduate in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited University.
• Valid professional engineering registration in Ontario, Canada
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a role leading to this opportunity.
• Construction/field experience (construction quality assurance in geotechnical/hydrotechnical facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills.
• Works well and seamlessly in an international team with a strong client focus.
• Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in GeoStudio or Rocscience package and advance use of Excel
• Familiar with AutoCAD Civil3D environment
• Preferred abilities with computer programming in Python or Visual Basic.
