Job Description
Operates vehicles to transport equipment, supports sales department, and maintains trucks and trailers. Instructs customers on equipment operating procedures and accounts for time and distance traveled.
Requirements
- Operates vehicles to transport equipment
- Supports sales department with equipment delivery
- Loads and transports equipment to and from customer locations
- Instructs customers on basic equipment operating procedures
- Maintains, cleans and cares for trucks and trailers
- Maintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
- Provides complete and thorough work order documentation
- Accounts for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties
- Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT and company policy
- Ensures an organized, professional workspace and maintains vehicles, tools, devices, and equipment
- Reports to work on time, manages time effectively, and works well independently and in groups
- Upholds a professional personal appearance
- Supports dealership customer service efforts and promotes all company departments
- Follows safety regulations
- Completes required training
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
