Maintenance Mechanic

Hawaiian Host Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to conduct preventive maintenance and perform troubleshooting on production equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of technical training or equivalent experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens.

Requirements

• AA degree or equivalent experience
• 3 years of technical training or equivalent experience with ability to use maintenance manuals & instructions
• 3 years of experience repairing and servicing a variety of machinery/equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics to perform troubleshooting on food manufacturing equipment and other machinery
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar
• Good computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present information
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
