The Assistant Fitness Director (AFD) position is responsible for assisting the Fitness Director in personal training sales and maintaining the quality of personal training services provided to members.
Requirements
- Achieve consistent personal training sales goals.
- Supervise personal training programming for members, enforcing attendance, punctuality, and company policies.
- Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating a passion for physical activity through regular use of the club.
- Maintain and reinforce professional standards, such as having a positive attitude, wearing a uniform, arriving on time, and respecting team members.
- Monitor the quality of personal training sessions provided by trainers to members.
- Obtain client feedback on personal training and take corrective measures as necessary to provide exceptional service.
- Daily inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure impeccable cleanliness, that equipment is in good condition, and that inventory is adequate.
- Show personal performance a level of commitment to continuous facility maintenance.
