Senior Etch Process Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Etch Process Engineer will own and manage the wafer dry etch process, providing technical leadership and timely solutions for day-to-day manufacturing issues. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Process Engineering.

What You Will Do

The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge, skills, and energy to take on challenges to support onsemi's technology and engineering and development on multiple fronts. Key duties and responsibilities include optimizing wafer fab processes, analyzing failing wafers, and implementing corrective actions.

The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability in knowledge in electronics, semiconductor technology, or solid-state physics, proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical methods, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in device failure analysis (e.g., SEM, EDX, SIMS, FIB, AFM, etc.) and device physics
