Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Data Architect to help build and scale the data infrastructure that powers analytics, automation, and AI across the firm. This role is for candidates who want real engineering responsibility, not shadow work. You will design and implement production-grade data pipelines, work with cloud-native tooling, and partner with senior engineers and data scientists on systems that matter.

What You Will Do

Design and build organizational data infrastructure/architecture, partner with business leaders and domain owners, provide insights into database/datalake storage and utilization requirements, establish standards for data platforms, integrations, analytics, and AI enablement, and more.

• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Understanding of data movement and ETL
• Understanding of data governance and metadata tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with an international team
• Experience building data lakes preferred
• Experience building data products preferred
• Team leadership and stakeholder management
• Understanding of Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Functions
• Strategic thinker and strong execution orientation
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 - $100,000 CAD
