At HDR, we are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join our team. As a highly motivated team player, you will collaborate with the design team to prepare and assemble working drawings, schedules, details, and sketches from conceptual design through construction. You will also develop solutions for technical and design challenges and coordinate efforts with project team members.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized Architectural Technology program
- 5 or more years of Canadian experience in a Technologist position
- Registered Architectural Technologist with AIBC
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit is required
- Organized and able to work under time constraints
- Proficient with building envelope detailing
- Flexible and able to work with a variety of project teams
- Strong written and oral skills in English are required
- Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience
- Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Experience with 3D Coordination tools
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
- Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
