Area Bridge and Tunnel Inspection Lead

HDR is looking for a NY/NJ Bridge Inspection Program Lead to head our NY/NJ Bridge Inspection Program. The role will lead the continued development of our bridge and tunnel inspection program, manage area bridge and tunnel inspection programs, and serve as Project Manager and/or Quality Control Reviewer for bridge, tunnel, and/or structural inspection projects.

Requirements

• Manage area bridge and tunnel inspection programs (NY/NJ) and select national bridge and tunnel projects.
• Develop Quality Assurance requirements and procedures for the inspection program.
• Perform Quality Control reviews for bridge inspection submissions.
• Identify business opportunities and lead marketing efforts for proposals.
• Lead bridge inspection teams, develop inspection reports, perform load ratings and other structural calculations.
• Must be willing to work with other disciplines (bridge design, planning, traffic control) within the office, as necessary, during inspection downtime.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing and able to travel for multiple night stays during the week.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various multi-disciplinary teams.
