Job Description
HDR is seeking a Control Systems Specialist / Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group in Folsom or Walnut Creek, CA. The individual will work on a team in a project leadership role in support of our national Control Systems practice, which includes full-service capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Previous work experience with an A&E/Consulting Engineering firm
- Minimum of 4 years of applicable experience
- Hands on experience designing control systems
- Experience developing P&IDs, control schematics, and loop drawings
- Knowledge of Network, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and/or Direct Digital Control (DDC) hardware and software
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- PLC/WTP and WWTP software programming experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
