Job Description
We're seeking a Cultural Resources Specialist 2 to lead and supervise archaeological field crews in pedestrian survey and data recovery efforts in Alaska. The successful candidate will have a strong background in archaeology, experience with fieldwork planning and execution, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History or closely related field
- A minimum of 5 years experience in cultural resource projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of project compliance-related activities, field study design and documentation, regulatory framework for cultural resource management, and GIS utilities
