Job Description
Economist Consultant will focus on technical, marketing, and staff development responsibilities, leading loss-of-life consequence analyses, and developing industry-leading methods and procedures. They will also contribute to internal and external marketing efforts and provide support and mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 5 years equivalent experience with an emphasis on the application and interpretation of research
- Experience in conceptualizing and developing economic or business models using analytical methods
- Knowledge of economic/econometric methods
- Experience with analytical packages and/or programming languages (SAS, Eviews, SPSS, Visual Basic, etc) and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis
