Environmental Designer/EIT

As an Environmental Designer/EIT at HDR, you'll contribute to creating sustainable, cost-effective systems that contribute to cleaner environments and healthier communities. You'll assist senior engineers in environmental remediation projects, perform routine engineering assignments, and complete administrative duties. You'll also work independently on small projects and assist more-senior engineers on larger projects.

Requirements

• 40-hour HAZWOPER training is strongly preferred
• Master's degree in environmental engineering or closely related Engineering field
• EIT or the ability to obtain
• 10-hour OSHA training is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS experience
• Professional experience with engineering internships is preferred
• Local candidates preferred
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding sampling task in adverse environmental conditions
