Job Description
As a Fire Life Safety (Fire Alarm Designer) at HDR, we'll count on you to create fire alarm system designs in a BIM model and work with engineers and architects to develop multi-discipline facility designs. You'll have excellent leadership and communication skills and be familiar with NFPA and industry standards design criteria related to fire protection systems.
Requirements
- Create fire alarm system designs in a BIM model
- Work with engineers and architects to develop multi-discipline facility designs
- Familiarity with NFPA and industry standards design criteria related to fire protection systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience with design analysis software and integration of analysis models/data with Revit
- Familiarity with applicable codes and Fire and Life Safety (FLS) design criteria
