Geologist II

HDR is seeking a Geologist II to join our team. As a Geologist II, you will be responsible for leading routine to complex hydrogeologic/environmental field investigations and overseeing field teams. You will also be responsible for developing and overseeing high resolution site characterization strategies and providing direction, oversight, and mentoring to junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Hydrogeology or closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Prior experience with field work
• Experience with well installation techniques, and groundwater and soil sampling procedures and analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions
• May require ability to travel
