Job Description
At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected. As a Healthcare Planner 1, you will support the planning and design of healthcare facilities as part of an integrated architectural team.
Requirements
- Provide planning, design, and coordination support on healthcare projects
- Prepare architectural drawings, diagrams, and space plans using CAD and BIM tools
- Assist with translating clinical and operational requirements into architectural layouts and test fits
- Support space programming and functional planning activities under the direction of senior planners
- Participate in user group meetings and planning workshops as a supporting team member
- Coordinate planning information with architectural, engineering, and project management disciplines
- Research applicable Canadian healthcare facility guidelines, standards, and best practices
- Prepare presentation materials, reports, and planning documentation
