Requirements
- Strong general engineering knowledge of either the telecommunication (Horizontal/Backbone cabling) or electronic security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection etc.) and operational coordination with commercial hardware.
- Meet with project clients to evaluate, define and review customer needs/objectives and ensure those requirements are meet within the project design.
- Define and develop complete project related construction documents to include all design documents (SD, DD, CD) to show design intent, project specifications and assist with system related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities.
- Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs and other project related requirements.
- Edit telecommunication or security specification specifically to the specific project.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry product offerings and research new emerging technologies.
- Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when field support is needed.
- Perform other duties as needed
