Job Description
We are seeking a Lighting Designer 1 to work under the guidance of a more-senior designer and contribute to the art, science, and business of lighting design. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Architectural Lighting or Architectural Engineering and experience with software such as SketchUp, 3DS Max, and Adobe Photoshop.
Requirements
- Intern Lighting Certified (LC) through the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP)
- Master's degree in Architectural Lighting or Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design
- 1 year experience or an internship with a lighting design, architectural/engineering, or engineering consulting firm that produced architectural lighting documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design or closely related field
- Strong computer skills with core competencies using AGI32, eLumtools, Revit, AutoCad, and Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective working individually and within team environments
