Mechanical Engineer

HDR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Building Engineering Services Group. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of the mechanical design team, establishing meetings with governing agencies, and reviewing mechanical documents for code compliance. You will also be expected to write and edit mechanical specifications, select equipment and mechanical systems, and provide construction contract administration as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings
• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
• Experience in commercial or institutional facilities
• Computer experience using MS Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, manufacturer selection software
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
