HDR is seeking a Mid-Atlantic Area Professional Services Manager to lead and develop technical competencies of area staff and products, oversee workload balancing, and implement QA/QC Program activities for continuous improvement. The role requires a minimum 15 years' of experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and maintains professional or engineering registration.
Requirements
- Develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of area staff and products
- Lead and monitor development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies
- Oversee workload balancing and ensure qualified staffing of project teams
- Lead quality assurance efforts to implement QA/QC Program activities
- Monitor project QC Review activities
- Lead and monitor activities for continuous improvement
- Lead project reviews and support project teams with management of claims and losses
- Lead the Area mentoring initiative
- Oversee technical and digital delivery evolution
- Work with Area Manager to streamline and coordinate business processes
- Oversee and ensure implementation of quality, standards, and best practices
- Provide leadership to assigned business class leaders
- Collaborate with Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders
- Participate in Area strategic planning and plan implementation
- Support area activities related to hiring and retaining key staff
- Serve as a champion for BGX opportunities
- Support communication and coordination within all business groups
