Payroll Staff Accountant

At HDR, we are seeking a Payroll Staff Accountant to support our U.S. payroll operations, including processing payroll, performing payroll reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, performs work with precision and accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Processing payroll and performing payroll reconciliations
• Auditing employee master data to ensure accurate tax withholding and payroll compliance
• Strong understanding of US payroll tax regulations.
• Calculating wages, overtime, and payroll deductions
• Processing off cycle checks and terminations
• Entering and maintaining payroll data
• Managing document retention
• Updating payroll related spreadsheets
• Responding to employee payroll inquiries
