Job Description
HDR is seeking a mid-level Roadway Engineer to join their Transportation Group in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The successful candidate will apply knowledge of transportation engineering and design principles to a range of projects, both locally and nationally. They will assist in guiding and managing in-house design teams, perform design checks, and develop scopes of work and fee estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Hands-on experience with Highways and Roads CAD engineering software
- MS Office knowledge
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with urban and rural highway interchanges, intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, site planning, and preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout, and CAD base alignment plans
