Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team at HDR. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will lead the design of complex analytics domains, establish modeling standards, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver measurable value. You will also mentor analytics engineers and drive adoption of documentation, lineage, and discoverability practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years of analytics or data experience with demonstrated ownership of complex analytical models
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with governed analytics delivery practices
- In depth experience with dbt Cloud or dbt Core with Git integration
- Experience implementing enterprise-wide metric programs or shared semantic layers
- Experience with governance practices for documentation, lineage, and change management
