Senior Communication Strategist

We are seeking a Senior Communication Strategist to support our technical teams in using clear, effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and regulators. As part of our Water Business Group, you'll help shape how communities manage water for generations to come.

Requirements

• Support technical teams in using clear, effective communication with customers, stakeholders, and regulators
• Support global and local communication strategies by working closely with engineering teams, environmental specialists, and marketing and communications partners
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and other experts to develop clear and accurate content
• Lead the creation of collateral and campaign materials for capital projects, public engagement activities, regulatory updates, and emergency communications
• Research, write, and edit project narratives and case studies
• Deliver employee training on communication best practices
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and communication best practices across the water and utilities sector
• Support technical staff in using clear communication practices when engaging with customers, stakeholders, and regulators
• Lead event planning and stakeholder engagement for public meetings, regulatory hearings, community workshops, and internal employee events
• Help shape the scope, schedule, and budget for communication activities supporting water and utility projects
• Mentor and support junior strategists and communications staff
