Job Description
HDR is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to work as a member of our Florida CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection) program at a project site in Orlando FL. Our CEI team primarily works independently on FDOT projects consisting of milling and resurfacing, bridge construction, signalization, earthwork operations, stripping operations, and final estimate preparation.
Requirements
- Able to work as needed on nights, holidays, and weekends
- Technical school or Associate's degree
- 10 years of roadway/highway inspection experience
- ITS experience
- Previous FDOT or other comparable agency experience
- Relevant industry certifications including CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1 and 2, CTQP Earthwork Constuction Inspection Level 1 and 2, IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level 1, CTQP Final Estimates Level 1, FDOT Intermediate MOT, Nuclear Radiation Safety, Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors, Critical Structures Construction Issues, Seld-Study Course - CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
