Job Description
HDR is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to work on Data Centre/Mission Critical projects. The role involves creating detailed designs, plans, specifications, and estimates for these facilities. As a senior engineer, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to manage and develop resources to meet project demands while maintaining technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- BEng, MSc or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or relevant subject
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design
- Experience in Electrical design for Data Centre is essential
- Managing Electrical Design throughout all design stages
- Design Coordination with other stakeholders & disciplines
- Wide experience of critical electrical systems, MV and LV power systems, standby generation, UPS, earthing, fire alarm systems
- Systems design to various resilience levels
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and 3D co-ordination
- Chartered Electrical Engineer (desirable)
