Senior Environmental Scientist

HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist/Project Manager to lead medium- to large-size environmental planning and compliance projects. The successful candidate will have experience in complex environmental planning/compliance projects, knowledge of the NEPA process, and technical expertise in environmental studies and investigations.

Requirements

• Plan and direct environmental planning and compliance projects
• Prepare and analyze technical studies, permit applications, and environmental assessments
• Research and interpret scientific literature, regulatory programs, and guidance
• Collect project-related data, conduct field investigations, and support field assessments
• Manage or coordinate specialty sub consultants or consultant team members
• Define the level of environmental analysis required, coordinate with project team members, and assist in preparation for public information meetings
